Onka LD
The Onkaparinga LD was held on Saturday morning in very good conditions. The jointly hosted race was a solid success with 24 crafty taking to the water in cool but calm conditions.
With the tide running out earlier than anticipated paddlers headed up river commencing at 8am with 4 seperate starts for their 20km, 14km or 8km race.
The wind was calm at the start, although it did pick up around 9am negating some of the tidal assistance as paddlers returned to the start/finish line.
